Tadoba, India, May 2016

May, 2016- My friend Mike Vickers and I left for Tadoba Park, India in May during a real heat wave for the country.  A plus for having high temperatures is that the tigers are easier to see as they go to the waterholes to cool off.  Each day the temps climbed to 120 degrees fahrenheit and in a jeep with no top, we searched for any of the tigresses and their cubs we went to Tadoba to find.  Blessing us with their appearance several times was a tigress with her 3 ten month old cubs.  One day we actually watched the family as they organized their hunt to chase a herd of wild boar.  We had our best sighting the last day when we found the Madhuri tigress with her 3 three month old cubs and our jeep watched her with no other jeep around for about 15 minutes.  The cubs were crying to nurse but she was having nothing to do with it.
